- The fourth Democratic Debate is now history. The best description of this one should be pandering, ironies and I've got a secret. One definition of pandering is indulging people with something they want. That is exactly what most of the candidates were doing, pandering to the far left with promises of entitlements. Senator Amy Klobuchar, however, got nowhere with the audience calling the Medicare-for-all scheme a "pipe dream." It should be called "Mediocre-for-all," a vastly expensive parody of the VA where government clerks rather than medical professionals decide your health care. Senator Warren's plan would be a complete government takeover of health care in spite of the fact she confusingly claims people could opt out.
