It doesn't matter what song you listen to, music has the capability to change your mood.PIX11 News got to see that firsthand at Cohen's Children's Medical Center where the music therapist spread cheer to both children and their parents who are spending their holiday in the hospital.It's a winter wonderland at Cohen's Children's Medical Center and the scene is set for some Christmas carols.Shawna Vernisie is the music therapist at the hospital. She travels room to room lifting spirits.And today she's having a sing along with children and their parents who are spending the holidays in the hospital. "We try to bring a lot of joy during the holidays. it's so important to have these experiences for kids."Dr. Peter Silver, the medical director at Cohen's, says it's events like this that touch everyone's heart here at the hospital. "There is nothing better than making kids smile, making them feel good and bringing joy during the holidays."

India Times - A retired professor couple based in Chandigarh has moved an advance directive in the local court that will let them state their wishes for their future medical care in case of a terminal illness. Retired Professor DN Jauhar and his wife Retired Professor Adarsh Jauhar have moved an advance directive (living will) in local court. The advance directive has been moved in the Chandigarh District Court. While speaking to ANI, Professor DN Jauhar said, "Passive euthanasia has become legal now." "You have to execute a document known as advance directive. You can call this living will, although this word has not been used in the judgement. We are perhaps the first people to move an advance directive," he added.
