Anthem's fight with doctors shows risks for surprise-billing fix
Alton Telegraph - Doctors fighting a reimbursement battle with one of the biggest U.S. health insurers want to make sure that ending surprise medical bills doesn't come at the expense of their pay. Anthem Inc. cut payments to some California physicians last month as part of what it called a routine adjustment to fees. AP - CASPER, Wyo. (AP) ? The trial has started for a man accused of opening fire in a Wyoming hospital. The Casper Star-Tribune reported Monday that the defense attorney for 20-year-old Mitchell Taylor is preparing to argue that the two counts of aggravated assault don't match his client's actions. No one was injured. Natrona County District Attorney Dan Itzen told the court that Taylor provoked fear and caused the emergency department to go into lockdown.
