The Lehigh County District Attorney filed an appeal Monday of the ruling tossing out evidence cited in support of drug and firearms counts stemming from the November 7 search in Allentown. AP - BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) ? The first medical marijuana dispensary in central North Dakota is open for business. About 15 people visited the dispensary during the first hour it opened in Bismarck Tuesday. Ben Hecht is general manager of Harvest of Bismarck. Hecht tells the Bismarck Tribune the dispensary sells everything that's available under state law, including oil, flowers and topical lotion. He says the medical marijuana manufacturing facility in Bismarck is researching a transdermal patch. The Bismarck shop is one of four operating in North Dakota since voters approved medical marijuana in November 2016. Dispensaries have opened in Fargo, Grand Forks and Williston. AP - NASHUA, Iowa (AP) ? Authorities have recovered a woman's body from the Cedar River in northeast Iowa. The Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office says someone called 911 a little before 6:40 p.m. Tuesday to report a person in the water at Howard's Woods Recreation Area northwest of Nashua. The office says the body has been identified as that of 23-year-old Mikala Titus. She lived in Charles City. The investigation is awaiting a report from the state medical examiner's office.

Burns School of Medicine, a practicing internist specializing in hematology and oncology and researcher, was drafted for military service after his residency and assigned to the then-National Heart Institute as research associate in the Puerto Rico Heart Program, was the department chair, integrated medical residency program director, hematology-oncology division chief and acting clinical director at the UH Cancer Research Center, the acting director of the UH Arthritis Center, chaired the Hawaii Board of Medical Examiners and was co-founder and president of Medical Associates Ltd.
