This makes them more susceptible to burnout, which causes them to search for jobs elsewhere.

Houston Chronicle - SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) ? A man convicted of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her friend in Sioux City has been sentenced to life in prison without parole. Tran Walker, who will turn 20 Sunday, was sentenced Friday in the January 2018 deaths of 17-year-old Paiten Sullivan and 18-year-old Felipe Negron Jr. Walker was convicted in August of two counts of first-degree murder. Public defender Jennifer Solberg said she planned to appeal the verdict. The Sioux City Journal reports the stabbing occurred after Sullivan told Walker she didn't want to date him anymore. The stabbing occurred when Walker and the two victims were in a car together because Walker said he wanted to discuss the breakup. Medical evidence showed that Sullivan was stabbed 43 times. KTLA CW Los Angeles - A bat found inside a bike rental shop at Irvine Park in Orange this week has tested positive for rabies, officials said Saturday. It's the second bat carrying the deadly disease reported in Orange County within a week. The O.C. Health Care Agency previously announced the discovery of a rabid bat at a commercial building's entrance at 1188 N. Euclid St. in Anaheim the afternoon of Sept. 13. One of the victims was 33-years-old, according to police, who say all the victims were around the same age and were wearing orange wristbands. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports that one of the deceased men was found inside the South Side Works City Club Apartment complex elevator at 4:01 a.m. Sunday morning after police found a survivor in critical condition on a nearby street at 3:20 a.m. The survivor had reportedly told police where he had been. Minneapolis Star Tribune - Pope, Dr. George Micheal of Silver Bay, Minnesota, passed away September 16, 2019 in Duluth, Minnesota. Dr. Pope was born October 15, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a graduate of Silver Bay High School and earned degrees from the U of M - Duluth and the U of M Medical School. He had a distinguished career as a physician in River Falls, Wisconsin and Cambridge, Minnesota. He retired from medicine in 2010. Dr. Pope was an accomplished watercolor artist, loved music and outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, sailing, running and cross country skiing. Dr. Pope is survived by daughter Meggan, son Matthew, granddaughter Skyla, grandson Broxton and sister Nikki Gerrard. A Celebration of Life will be held November 9 at the Boat Club Harbor View Room at Fitger's (600 E. Superior St.) in Duluth, Minnesota, open house 2-6, program at 3 p.m.

After medical school, Bob and Ann, his loving wife of 43 years, moved to Phoenix, Arizona for surgical residency. Bob had a distinguished career in emergency medicine for 35 years, caring for thousands of patients in Phoenix-area hospitals.
