He was born October 5, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN to Dr. Milton and Laura Seifert. John grew up in Excelsior, MN surrounded by his 6 brothers and sister. He was preceded in death by brothers Jack, Peter and Greg and is survived by brothers Milton, Paul, Tom and sister Mary. John attended St. Thomas Military Academy; College of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN, and received his medical degree from Marquette University Medical School in Milwaukee, WI. A worker who fell down three stories after the Hard Rock Hotel under construction in New Orleans partially collapsed was detained by immigration officials two days later, his spokesperson and immigration authorities said. Delmer Ramirez-Palma was one of more than a dozen workers who were injured at the construction site on Oct. 12. At least two people were killed.
